ARI 345 with flatbed and tarpaulin body in use at Foto Götz in 40221 Düsseldorf
With an environmentally friendly cargo trike straight to the video shoot or photo shoot. The ARI 345 flatbed with tarpaulin body is now also on the road with photographer and videographer Thomas Götz in Düsseldorf. Thomas Götz has been working as a freelance photo and video journalist at trade fairs, events and functions since 1993. Together with his ARI 345, he now mainly produces live video streams for churches and concert halls.
ARI 345 Pritsche mit Planenaufbau bei Thomas Götz
For Götz, the advantages of the ARI 345 are clear: "it is electric, handy and small and you can find a parking space anywhere". The vehicle also makes a positive impression on his customers. With the cargo trike, he is replacing an electric scooter that did not offer enough space for his luggage. With the standard size of the platform body and the tarpaulin, the ARI 345 offers a load volume of around 2.2 m2 and therefore also enough space for bulky film equipment.
Thanks to the waterproof tarpaulin body, Thomas Götz can easily transport his photo and video equipment even in bad weather. The bright yellow tarpaulin also serves as advertising space for his company.
The cargo trike is used several times a week in Düsseldorf's city traffic. The battery charge is often sufficient for one tour, so that the ARI only needs to be plugged in again in the evening. Nevertheless, the photojournalist is already thinking about the larger battery pack so that he can be even more flexible on his assignments.
