To make sure that everything is running smoothly on your ARI, we recommend an annual inspection.

 

Yes, it might be quicker if you simply do it yourself. But we don't recommend it. Because although our ARI electric vehicles are simply built, there are a few parts that are a bit of a challenge. Chassis components, for example. Or the brakes. They are not so easy for laypeople to check.

 

Only a trained eye can tell for sure whether, for example, a rattling noise while driving is due to a worn joint or has a completely different cause.

 

It is therefore best to take your ARI to one of our service workshops or simply have it checked by one of our service employees at your premises. This will cost you a good investment of 249 euros and about 2.5 hours of patience. That's about how long it takes to thoroughly check your ARI electric vehicle using our service protocol.

 

Afterwards, you can be absolutely sure that your ARI is well maintained and in perfect working order, from A for exterior mirrors to Z for central locking. Nothing stands in the way of a relaxed trip to the MOT:)

Annual inspection of your ARI: do it yourself or have it done?

For some months now, an ARI 458 electric transport vehicle with box body is used by the butcher shop “Gunnar Pape” in 17252 Mirow (Germany) to deliver goods from one location to another. The main usage, however, is to provide customers with fresh and warm food on a daily basis.

Additionally, the vehicle is used for catering services, thereby serving the purpose as a delivery vehicle for routes of 60 to 100 kilometers a day. Because of its low power consumption, the costs are only about 2 EUR per 100 kilometer. As a result, it can save around 75% fuel costs in comparison to former vehicles with combustion engines.

With several hundred kilometers of driving distances every week, the ARI 458 electric transport vehicle successfully serves its purpose as a low-maintenance delivery vehicle for meals on wheels.

**Warranty period:**

 

The warranty period for your ARI electric vehicle corresponds to the current statutory provisions and begins on the date of purchase. This is recorded in the handover protocol.

 

The period of warranty varies from country to country. In the European Union, a warranty of 2 years of the vehicle as well as the battery is standard. The modern LiFePO4 battery, however, comes with a longer warranty period, namely 4 years or 60.000 km, depending on what is reached first.

 

**Scope of warranty claims:**

 

In the event of warranty damage, we will of course take care of the repair of your ARI electric vehicle. To do this, we repair faulty parts or replace them.

 

Important: Further claims such as withdrawal from the purchase contract, the provision of a replacement vehicle or the payment of damages **cannot** be derived from this.

 

**Requirements for warranty claims:**

 

In order to be able to assert warranty claims for your ARI electric vehicle, it is necessary that you:

 

- have necessary service measures carried out promptly and professionally,
- comply with prescribed inspection intervals + have it documented
- that maintenance and service work has been carried out in accordance with ARI Motors regulations.


 

**Special case: Missed or improper maintenance**

 

Even if your ARI electric vehicle has not been (properly) serviced, it is possible to enforce warranty claims. However, only if existing damage to your vehicle is not due to improper or lack of maintenance.
